Extra-Curricular Activities
St. John's Lutheran School encourages its students to participate in extra-curricular activities. The participation in these activities, while considered to be an integral part of the student experience, is never the less considered a privilege and not a right. Students who wish to participate must comply with all school rules, exhibit the high standards of conduct, and be in good academic standing.
Athletics: Students have the opportunity to compete in various sports with other schools of comparable size. Some of these sports include, but are not limited to, volleyball, cross country, basketball, and cheer-leading.
Practices for these activities will take place after school hours.
Fine Arts: Students who wish to participate in Select Choir, Joyful Bells hand bell group, or our bi-annual musical theater production may audition with the Music Director.
Student Government: Student councils serve to engage students in learning about democracy and leadership. St. John's Lutheran Student Council is open to grades third through sixth. Placement on the council is determined by a student election.
